“ I needed to bring myself out on a date and decided to treat myself at Impasto. 1. Great atmosphere and ambiance; amongst friends, date or solo. 2. Food cooked at the perfection. Maybe the pasta was a tad salty but everyone has different palate. 3. Kind and attentive staff. My favourite seating might be by the window or bar (as always). Expect about 70-100 a head. Another one for my list when I have guest from out of town! Good job team ”

“ Walked into Impasto just as lunch was winding down and was greeted with warmth. I got a lovely table by the window, perfect for soaking in the ambiance. Service? Flawless. Attentive without being intrusive. I started with the minestrone, rich, hearty, and full of flavour, followed by the porchetta, which was nothing short of spectacular. Perfectly crisp on the outside, juicy on the inside, and beautifully plated over creamy beans and greens. A balanced dish in every sense. Wines by the glass were decent, and the prices across the board were very reasonable for the quality. Between the food, the service, and the setting, this is a top-tier spot in Little Italy. No complaints, just compliments. ”
“ We had just a wonderful experience at this restaurant! We were in town for the solar eclipse and wandering through Little Italy in search of an Italian restaurant. We walked into Impasto and though they appeared completely full, they settled us at the bar overlooking the kitchen. Nicholas and Anthony were the staff members who assisted us all evening. They were very helpful with the wine and drink selection. We basically just let them pick our antipasto and dinner. Charles was the chef and he answered numerous questions through the meal. We started with the tuna and veal plate and then for entree we shared the mushroom parmesan ricotta gnocchi. We eat out a lot and I can honestly say it has been quite a while since I've had a meal that good. I have a feeling just about everything on their menu tastes this good. I wish I lived nearer! Thank you to Charles and Nicholas and Anthony for giving us a very enjoyable and memorable evening. It may honestly be worth the 21-hour drive from Minnesota to come back just for this restaurant! ”
“ We arrived early, just before 6, and we were the first customers. However within the hour every seat was full. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, with food and drink suggestions. We came prepared for a lot of food and we were not disappointed. We started with a plate of olives, salami, and mozzarella cheese. The salami was cut paper thin and delicious. Next we split a green salad. The greens were fresh and the dressing was just right. Next we split a plate of spinach ravioli with tomato sauce. The flavor was delightful. Finally the main course. We each had a fish dish, one halibut and one sea bass. The portions were generous, the fish was perfectly cooked, and the sauces were great. Our server suggested wine pairings that were enjoyable. We also had cannolis for desert. They were light with flaky crust and just right. Overall a great experience. We will definitely return. ”

The restaurant has a fantastic vibe, and the server was incredibly knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly and accommodated my partner's preference for no raw meat. The ambiance was just right—warm and cozy. The pastas, including the squash ravioli, were superb. The attention to ingredient quality was evident in every dish. Whether it's a date night or a special family outing, this place is spot-on :) ”
